Abstract

The paper presents the most common types of conditions comorbid to attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. The various forms of behavioral and emotional disorders in children are to a large extent caused by social factors, such as unfavorable microsocial environment and family upbringing. Family relationships are often psychotraumatic for children. Children with behavioral disorders (p<0.001) and neurotic disorders (p<0.05) are brought up in prevailing hyperprotection. The paper names the causes and mechanisms of inharmonious types of parent–child interaction. Family therapy helps develop new skills for interacting with the problem child and eliminate comorbid conditions in children.

Keywords
