Abstract

Using the method of quantitative sensory testing with TSA-II NeuroSensory Analyzer we have studied thermal sensitivity of young people living in the European North of Russia. We have revealed peculiarities of temperature thresholds in the distal and proximal parts of male and female students’ hands. Thermal sensitivity thresholds clearly differ in groups with different levels of personal anxiety.
