Abstract

The paper presents data on the mechanisms of behavioral response in stochastic and deterministic environments, as well as within the context of probabilistic prediction. Primary school children proved to be resistant to changes in the environment and adhere to internal mechanisms of goal-setting. Children with ADHD showed inert restructuring of choice strategies and difficulties in assimilation of the stimuli sequence relationship. Children with dyscalculia trended towards alternating choice with left-hand preference.
